The 8th Annual Walk the Shore for a Cure race will be held
on Saturday, September 6, 2008. Last year, over $16,000 was
raised to benefit the American Cancer Society for continued
research, prevention and treatment of cancer. "Walk the
Shore for a Cure" has raised over $91,000 since its inception
in 2001. According to recent reports several types of the
most prevalent cancers are on the decline. Cancer affects
all of us and by working together we can make this disease
a threat of the past.

When: September 6, 2008 at 10am. Kids Fun Run
begins at 9:45 a.m.
Where: The Saw Mill Cafe, Stockton Avenue and the
Boardwalk, Seaside Park, New Jersey

Sign-up will be available September 5, 2008 at the Seaside
Park Elementary School on 4th and Central Avenues from
5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Pre-registration Entry Fee: $25
Sign-up is also available on Race Day at the Saw Mill
Cafe from 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Race Day Registration

Shirt and race number pick-up:
Pick-up is available on September 5th during Pre-registration
at the Seaside Park Elementary School. Pick-up is also
available on September 6th (Race Day) from 8:30 a.m. -
9:30 a.m. at the Saw Mill Cafe.
Course:
The 5K Run and Walk starts on the boardwalk in front
of the Saw Mill Cafe at 10 a.m.

Cancellation Policy:
This event will occur rain or shine. We reserve the right
to cancel in extreme circumstances. In this event there
will be no refunds and your entry fee will be used as
a donation to the American Cancer Society.
Race Day Parking:
Free parking is available in the lot adjacent to the
Saw Mill. All meters are free for race participants!
General Awards:
The first 400 registrants will receive a free T-Shirt.
The first male and female in each age category will receive
an award.
